Components of a Successful Setup

 Champion

The Champion is by far the most important component to initial success. This person can in fact solely drive success.

Champion's Responsibilities

  1. Adoption and use of the system
  2. Evangelism of the benefits of ConservationTrack
  3. Support and train users
  4. Gather feedback and expand usage
Plan

A clear plan of action makes adoption of a ConservationTrack module take place much more efficiently. The plan should include the following components:

  1. Definition of the problem or challenge
  2. Identification of users required to address the problem
  3. Design for an initial solution
  4. Share solution with users and gather feedback
  5. Refine the solution (as necessary repeat steps 4 & 5)
  6. Release the solution to the users and provide training and documentation as necessary for launch.
  7. After a predetermined break in period, verify that the system is being used and determine if there is a need to make any improvements.

To make this process easier, we have provided a plan template.

If this is your first module, the following information will also be required for setup:

1. Your organizations logo, properly scaled for the site (no more than 150 pixels is ideal).

2. Color schemes for the site

3. A link to your public site
